A Life Well-Lived
Born and raised in Philadelphia, Craig was the youngest of ten siblings. He attended West Catholic High School and graduated in the class of 1990. Throughout his life, Craig remained deeply connected to his roots in Southwest Philadelphia, cherishing the memories of his childhood and the bonds he shared with his family.
A Dedicated Family Man
Above all else, Craig cherished his family. He shared thirty beautiful years of marriage with his loving wife, Patricia A. Severs, and was a devoted father to his children: Amanda Thompson, Craig S. Paslay Jr., Anthony C. Paslay, and Ashley Paslay. He also took immense pride in being a grandfather to Michael Marshall Jr. and Riley Marshall. His family was his greatest joy, and he found solace and happiness in their presence.
A Hero Among Us
Craig’s commitment to serving others extended beyond his family. Joining the Philadelphia Fire Department in June 2003, he dedicated himself to protecting his community and fighting fires with courage and determination. Throughout his career, Craig exemplified the values of bravery, selflessness, and compassion, earning the respect and admiration of all who knew him.
