Robert Arata Obituary, Death – Robert “Bob” Arata, a cherished member of the community, passed away peacefully on February 10, 2024, at the age of 93. His journey on this earth, marked by love, dedication, and warmth, leaves an indelible mark on all who had the privilege of knowing him.

A Life of Love and Dedication:  Born on October 13, 1930, Bob’s life was one of profound commitment and love. He now reunites with his parents, Alice and Frank Arata, and his brother Howard, in eternal peace. Bob’s legacy of love continues through his adoring wife, Joyce, whom he shared 67 beautiful years of marriage. Their love story, beginning with a chance blind date, blossomed into a lifelong partnership filled with devotion and mutual respect. Throughout his life, Bob pursued his passions with zest and enthusiasm. From his days as a student at City College of San Francisco and UC Berkeley to his service in the US Army, Bob approached every endeavor with determination and integrity.

A Legacy of Family and Friendship: Bob’s love extended beyond his immediate family to include his children, Susan and Dan, and his grandchildren, Megan, Lauren, Scott, Jeffrey, and Michael. His great-grandchildren, Zoe, Nathan, Zachary, and Elena, brought him immeasurable joy and pride. Bob’s genuine kindness and unwavering support also endeared him to his extended family and countless friends.
