Brendan Kelly Obituary, Death –  The passing of Brendan Kelly has left a profound void in the hearts of many. Hailing from Beechville, Athlone, and formerly of Station Road, Ballycumber, Offaly, Brendan was not just a beloved husband, father, brother, and grandfather, but a cherished friend to countless individuals. His journey through life was marked by warmth, kindness, and a deep devotion to his family and community.

 A Life Well-Lived: 
Brendan Kelly peacefully departed this world on Saturday, 24th February 2024, at his home, enveloped by the love of his family. Preceded in death by his beloved parents Peg and Jimmy, brothers Paddy and Kevin, as well as his nephew Ken, Brendan leaves behind a legacy of love and memories that will endure through generations. His presence will be sorely missed by his loving wife Kate, daughter Caroline, sons Damien, Darrell, and Declan, sister Rose (Walshe), brother Thomas, and his cherished grandchildren Liam, Aoife, Evelyn, Jack, Conor, Eoghan, Ben, and Caelan.

 Farewell Ceremony: 
Friends and well-wishers are invited to pay their respects to Brendan at Flynn’s Funeral Home, The Strand, Athlone (N37 WY17) on Sunday evening from 6 pm until 8 pm. A Requiem Mass will be held in honor of Brendan at Our Lady’s Queen of Peace, Coosan Church, on Monday at 12 noon, followed by burial in Coosan Cemetery. In adherence to the family’s wishes, the house will remain private. Family flowers are gratefully accepted, while those desiring to make donations in Brendan’s memory are encouraged to contribute to the South Westmeath Hospice.
