Her thirst for knowledge led her to pursue higher education, earning an associate’s degree from Purdue University and a bachelor’s degree from Indiana Wesleyan. On February 14, 1976, Doretha embarked on a journey of love and companionship as she married Albert B. Hall, the love of her life. Together, they shared over three decades of cherished memories until Albert’s passing on December 2, 2014. Their bond was a testament to enduring love and partnership, enriching the lives of all who witnessed it.

Doretha’s professional career was equally remarkable, spanning over 29 years with State Farm Insurance. She was a former member of Christ Memorial Temple and later found fulfillment in serving at Apostolic Faith in Southgate, MI.
