Many of us had the honor of meeting Mika at the REDAQ in 2015; this interaction changed each of us personally and had a long-lasting effect on the state of Democratic Schools and self-directed learning in Quebec.
In addition to being a co-founder of Mont-Libre, Mika was a committed facilitator who made a substantial contribution to the establishment and growth of the center. She devoted her heart and soul to Mont-Libre’s mission during her year and a half of voluntary work there. After leaving, Mika became a doula and a yoga instructor, focusing her passion on women’s health and reproductive health.
