Alfred Jimenez Obituary, Death –  The Brandeis High School community is mourning the loss of Alfred “Mr. Fred” Jimenez, a dedicated special needs instructional assistant who passed away after an altercation with a student on Wednesday, Feb. 7, 2024. Jimenez, 73, had been a valued member of the school staff since 2014, providing crucial support to students with severe to moderate disabilities.

 The Incident 

At approximately 10:30 a.m. on that fateful Wednesday, Jimenez was involved in an altercation with a student that resulted in him falling to the floor and sustaining a head injury. Emergency Medical Services (EMS) were called promptly, and Jimenez was transferred for medical attention. Despite efforts to save him, Jimenez succumbed to his injuries on Saturday morning.
