Duncan Alexander Obituary, Death –  Duncan Alexander’s presence was an integral part of our camp community for many years. His warmth, kindness, and unwavering dedication made him a cherished member of our group. Whether it was greeting newcomers with a friendly smile or engaging in lively conversations around the campfire, Duncan had a knack for making everyone feel welcome and valued. His enthusiasm for camp activities, particularly his spirited flag breaks, brought joy and energy to our gatherings. Duncan’s positive spirit and genuine camaraderie will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

 A Kind and Generous Soul 
Duncan’s legacy extends far beyond his participation in camp activities. He was known for his generosity and compassion, always ready to lend a helping hand or offer words of encouragement to those in need. Whether it was offering guidance to younger campers or supporting his fellow camp leaders, Duncan approached every interaction with empathy and sincerity. His genuine care for others left a lasting impression on our camp community, and his absence will be keenly felt by all who were touched by his kindness.

 Honoring His Memory 
As we come to terms with the loss of Duncan, our thoughts are with his family and friends during this difficult time. We share in their sorrow and offer our deepest condolences for their loss. In remembrance of Duncan’s life and contributions to our camp, a memorial service will be held at St Columba’s South Church, Elgin, at 12 noon on Wednesday 28th February. This service will provide an opportunity for us to come together as a community to celebrate Duncan’s life, share cherished memories, and find solace in each other’s company. All are welcome to attend, as we pay tribute to a beloved friend and cherished member of our camp family. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to a charity of your choice in Duncan’s memory, reflecting his spirit of generosity and compassion.
