William Ketchem Obituary, Death – Our hearts are sad as we share the news that William J. “Bill” Ketchem, 69 years old, a resident of Bloomfield, has passed away. During the evening of Wednesday, February 21, 2024, Bill passed away in a calm and tranquil manner at his house.

The cherished son of William H. and Emily Marie (Gee) Ketchem, Bill was born on August 6, 1954 in Washington, Indiana. He was the only child of his parents. The steadfastness of Bill’s character and his unwavering commitment were obvious to everyone who knew him from the very beginning of his life.

His extraordinary dedication to his nation was the defining characteristic of Bill’s life. He served in the United States Army for an astonishing 38 years, leaving with honor and distinction after a long and distinguished career.
