Mr. Shepherd, who was 71 years old when he passed away, was able to leave behind 46 years of valuable memories and contributions to the community that he considered to be his home. He passed away at Chesterfield Royal Hospital.

A Commitment to the Community That Lasts a Lifetime For a considerable amount of time, Mr. Shepherd made his living in foundries, first at Robert Hyde & Sons and subsequently at William Lee’s Dronfield Manufacturing. Through his unwavering commitment and tireless efforts, he was able to make a significant impact on the local industry, earning him the affection and respect of his friends as well as his coworkers.
One with a Passionate Heart
Outside of the foundry, Philip’s heart belonged to the things that he was passionate about. Philip led a life that was full of vitality and energy, whether he was tending to his garden, cheering on his favorite football team, or spending precious moments with the people he cared about.
In his life, his family is the most important thing.
His children, Claire, Angela, and Jason, are the ones who carry on the legacy of love that Philip leaves behind. His siblings, Alan and Neil, are also experiencing grief over the loss of a close relative or sibling. Philip’s family, including his brother Kevin and daughter Amanda, continues to remember him with affection, although they are devastated by his passing. The delight and excitement that he experienced will be passed down to his eight grandchildren, who will also serve as a legacy to him forever.

The Chesterfield Crematorium will be the location of a funeral service that will be held on Tuesday, March 5th, at 2:30 pm, in order to pay tribute to the life of Mr. Philip Shepherd. To pay tribute to Philip’s vivacious personality and inexhaustible zest for life, the family kindly requests that you wear something blue.
