Monica Mickle Obituary, Death – The community of Lancaster, South Carolina mourns the loss of a beloved member, Ms. Monica Monique Mickle, who departed this life on Saturday, February 17, 2024. Born on April 17, 1981, Monica was the daughter of the late Leonard and Terry McGill Mickle. Her memory will be cherished by all who knew her.
A Life of Faith and Service: Monica was deeply rooted in her faith as a member of Clinton Chapel AME Zion Church. Her commitment to her community and her church was unwavering, and she was known for her kindness and generosity to those around her. Monica received her education in the Lancaster County School System, where she excelled both academically and as a member of the ROTC Team. In 1999, she proudly graduated from Andrew Jackson High School, marking the beginning of a journey marked by determination and perseverance.
A Legacy of Love and Family: She is survived by her cherished son, Terryion Wright of Camden, SC, as well as her sister Andra McGill of Camden, SC, and her brothers Joel Twitty of Lancaster, SC, and Brushawn Mickle of Kershaw, SC. Additionally, she is remembered fondly by her uncle Ralph Mickle of Kershaw, SC, her stepfather Cornnell Beckham (Charlene), her godchildren, god sister Terry Phillips, and a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family members.

A Funeral Service to honor Monica’s life will be held at 1:00 pm on Sunday, February 25, 2024, at Clinton Chapel AME Zion Church, located at 105 North Johnson Street, Kershaw, SC. As the community gathers to pay their respects, Monica’s memory will live on in the hearts of all who were touched by her kindness, warmth, and grace.
