Lisa Fowler Obituary, Death – North Haven, CT – Lisa Ann Fowler, a cherished member of the community, passed away suddenly on Thursday, Feb. 15, 2024, at her home. She was 60 years old. Born on March 20, 1963, in Brooklyn, NY, Lisa was the daughter of Louis Anthony Cianciotta and Mildred Ellen (Morganelli) Cianciotta, both of whom preceded her in death.

A Life Full of Love and Family:  She was raised by her stepfather, Robert A. Stange, alongside her sister, Katherine Cianciotta Vanvooren. Lisa’s childhood was marked by love and family bonds, which she carried with her throughout her life. Lisa’s journey was enriched by her marriages and the joy of motherhood. She was married to Richard Pohle, with whom she shared two beautiful daughters, Jennifer Marie Pohle of Providence, RI, and Elizabeth Rose Pohle of Wallingford, CT. Her role as “Mema” to Jude Moquin brought her immense happiness and fulfillment.

A Woman of Strength and Resilience: Lisa’s life was a testament to resilience. Despite facing the loss of loved ones, including her sister Stephanie Oggenfuss Smart and her grandparents, Mario Richard and Mildred Gloria Morganelli, Lisa persevered with grace and strength. Throughout her life, Lisa was surrounded by a loving extended family, including her stepmother, Connie Rue-Stange, nephews Christopher, Ryan, and Dakota, as well as several grandnieces and grandnephews, all of whom brought her joy and companionship.
