Her parents, Maurice Forbes and Pearl Forbes (Roskamp), as well as her brother Paul, her sister-in-law Bev Forbes, her grandson Robert Joel Harrison, and all of her other relatives had passed away previous to her dying. Her brother Paul was also among those who had passed away.
She is survived by : her former life partners, Willis D Harrison (Bill) and Kenneth F Smith; her children, Robin Harrison of Lilydale, MN, Greg Harrison of Marshalltown, IA, Tony Harrison (Kelley) of Marshfield, MO and Jason Harrison (Jeanne) of Grafton, WI.; her former life partners, Nancy Tappe (Jay) of Colo, IA and Cindy Jennings of Nevada, IA; her husband Roger Smith (Teddi) of Cedar Rapids, IA.; her grandchildren, Jay, Michael, Jon, Luke, Joe, Jacqueline, Craig, Phillip, Stuart, Katie, Levi and Galina; her sister Marilyn; and her brother-in-law Mike Sanderson of Albion.
The viewing that is scheduled to take place on Friday, February 23rd, 2024, will be held at Mitchell Family Funeral Home, which can be found at 1209 Iowa Avenue West, Marshalltown, Iowa 50158. The viewing will take place from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. It is located at 1009 Iowa Avenue West, which is the address of the funeral home. On the 24th of February, 2024, between the hours of 1:30 and 2:30 p.m., a funeral service will be held at the same site. The service will take place at the same location.
There is a possibility that the family will be able to collect memorial gifts with the intention of designating them sometime in the future.
