A Kind and Welcoming Soul: Duncan’s warm demeanor and kind spirit endeared him to everyone he met. Whether you were a seasoned camper or a newcomer, Duncan greeted you with a smile and a kind word. His genuine kindness created a welcoming atmosphere that defined the essence of our camp community. One of Duncan’s most memorable traits was his unparalleled enthusiasm for signaling flag breaks. With great gusto, he would raise the camp flag, signaling the start of each day’s adventures. His infectious energy inspired us all to approach each day with a renewed sense of excitement and purpose.
In Our Thoughts: As we mourn the loss of Duncan, our thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends. Honoring Duncan’s Legacy: A memorial service will be held to celebrate Duncan’s life and legacy. Join us at St Columba’s South Church in Elgin on Wednesday, February 28th, at 12 noon. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to a charity of your choice in Duncan’s honor. Duncan’s memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know him. Though he may no longer walk among us, his spirit will continue to guide and inspire us as we carry on his legacy of kindness, enthusiasm, and community.
