Chrissie Eddy Obituary, Death – On February 15th, 2024, the community of Wadebridge bid farewell to a beloved member, Christine Ann Reid, affectionately known as Chrissie Eddy. At the age of 81, Chrissie peacefully passed away after bravely enduring a long illness. Her legacy, however, extends far beyond her years, leaving an indelible mark on the hearts of those who knew her.
A Cherished Matriarch: Chrissie was not only a cherished mother to James, Christopher, Adam, and Tamsyn but also a devoted grandmother to Eden, Jonas, Jonathon, Jacob, Hannah, Sam, Zac, Honey, Zeb, Thalia, Sienna, and Quais. Her nurturing spirit and unwavering love enriched the lives of her family, creating cherished memories that will endure for generations to come. As a great-grandparent to Lennie, Chrissie’s love knew no bounds, extending to each new addition to the family tree. Her warmth and kindness created a strong foundation upon which her descendants could thrive, instilling values of compassion, resilience, and unity.
Honoring Her Memory: A Funeral Service to celebrate Chrissie’s life will be held at Glynn Valley Crematorium on Wednesday, March 6th, at 1:30 pm. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to Cancer Research UK, a cause close to Chrissie’s heart.
