Barry Graham Obituary, Death – It is with heavy hearts that we bid farewell to a beloved member of our community, Barry Graham. His passing on Monday, February 19, 2024, has left a profound void in the hearts of many. Barry’s legacy stretches back decades, and his contributions to our community have been immeasurable.

A Pillar of Compassion and Dedication:  Barry’s journey with our organization began in 1974 when he joined the original steering committee tasked with planning the Aged Care facility in Booleroo Centre. His dedication to this cause was unwavering, and he continued to serve ‘Mt View’ Homes for an astounding 43 years on the Board of Directors. In 1991, Barry took on the role of a staff member, and in 2002, he assumed the responsibilities of Executive Officer. His leadership and commitment were exemplary, guiding our organization through various challenges and triumphs.

A Lifelong Commitment: Barry’s retirement from his official role in December 2012 marked the end of an era, but his connection to ‘Mt View’ Homes remained strong. He continued to support us in various ways, whether it was playing the piano during gatherings or sharing laughter at “Beer ‘O Clock.” His presence brought joy to many, and his absence will be deeply felt. Throughout his years of service, Barry touched countless lives with his kindness, wisdom, and unwavering dedication.
