Michael Morgan Obituary, Death – The unexpected and tragic death of Michael Andrew Morgan, one of Port De Grave’s own, has left the community in mourning. Michael abruptly passed away at the age of 39 at home, shocking his friends, family, and the community.

A Man of the Family Recalls:

Keegan Morgan, Michael’s loving son and the joy of his life, survives him. The only people remaining to preserve his memory are his parents, Wayne and Charlotte Morgan, sister, Nadine Morgan, and brothers, Danny (Teri) and Duane (Melinda). Olivia Morgan, Marysa Morgan, and David Morgan, their nieces and nephews, join them in savoring the memories they had with Michael.

Warm Recollections of Skill and Passion:

Michael was a multi-passionate man who was well-known for his wide range of abilities and pursuits. He threw himself into life, diving into hunting and fishing as well as auto racing. His soul was filled with music, and he found comfort in spending time with his son Keegan. Michael was a devoted fisherman by profession and a multitalented individual who made a lasting impression on the town where he lived.

An Emotional Farewell:

Many people will feel the loss of Michael since he leaves behind his grandparents, Edger and Hilda Andrews, Clinton Spracklin, and Albert and Elizabeth Morgan. The family has asked that donations be made to St. Luke’s Church in Port De Grave or CNIB Newfoundland and Labrador in lieu of flowers, in keeping with Michael’s dedication to the local community and compassion.

Recalling Michael: Friends and Family Congregate to Offer Condolences:

The family extends an invitation to friends and family at Slade’s Funeral Home in Bay Roberts so that they can support one another during this trying time and share memories. On Sunday from 2 to 5 PM and 7-9 PM, as well as on Monday from 10:30 AM to 12 PM, 2 to 5 PM, and 7-9 PM, there will be a visitation.

One Last Goodbye:

On Tuesday, February 20, 2024, at 11 AM, St. Luke’s Anglican Church in Port de Grave will host Michael’s funeral ceremony, which will be a celebration of his life. With sorrowful hearts, the community comes together to say goodbye, honoring a man who had a profound impact on many people in Port De Grave.
