Kristen Murphy Obituary, Death – The sudden passing of Kristen Blair Murphy, 37, of Danville, VA, on Thursday, February 15, 2024, has left the community in mourning. Kristen, born on May 5, 1986, was a cherished daughter, sister, mother, and friend. Her untimely departure has deeply saddened all who knew her.
A Life of Love and Service: Kristen, a native of Danville, dedicated her life to caring for others as a Certified Nursing Assistant at Martinsville Health and Rehabilitation. Beyond her professional endeavors, she found joy in crafting, skating, and creating memories with her beloved daughter, Emma Grace Kennedy. Kristen leaves behind a legacy of love and warmth. She is survived by her daughter Emma Grace, who was her pride and joy, as well as her mother Tina Murphy Farthing, her father Thomas Farthing, and her sisters Amy Metzger, Brooke Murphy, and Holly Murphy. Kristen’s memory will forever be cherished by her family and friends.
Honoring Kristen’s Memory: Graveside funeral services will be held on Tuesday, February 20, 2024, at 2:00 P.M. at Danville Memorial Gardens. Reverend Gerald Kelly and special speaker Catherine Parker will officiate the service. The family will also welcome friends at their residence at 2816 Horseshoe Road, Danville, VA, 24541.
