As a stalwart figure within CLG Killinkere, Jimmy served as a beacon of inspiration to fellow members. His leadership as Club President will be remembered fondly, serving as a guiding light for the club’s endeavors. Additionally, his commitment extended beyond the local level, as he faithfully represented Cavan as a county board delegate.
A Distinguished Referee and Mentor: Jimmy’s influence transcended mere administrative roles; he was also an accomplished and respected referee within Cavan. His fair judgment and integrity on the field earned him the admiration of players and spectators alike. Beyond officiating matches, Jimmy was a mentor to many, imparting invaluable wisdom and guidance to those he encountered. Following the mass, there will be a guard of honor at Jimmy’s burial in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Clanaphilip, in the afternoon.

To honor Jimmy’s life and legacy, a funeral mass will be held at Mary Immaculate Church in Virginia on Sunday, with proceedings commencing at 2 o’clock.
