Christine Nephew Obituary, Death – Christine Nephew, aged 55, of Montrose, formerly of Bridgeport, gracefully departed this world on Friday, February 16, 2024, surrounded by her loving family. Her passing leaves a void in the hearts of those who knew her, but her memory will forever be cherished. Christine’s journey intertwined with Keith Nephew’s, with whom she shared 35 beautiful years. Born on April 1, 1968, in Saginaw, Christine was the daughter of Jose and Auralie Garcia.
A Remarkable Woman Remembered: Christine’s vibrant spirit illuminated the lives of those around her. She possessed a passion for knitting, a penchant for drama and romance movies, and an unwavering love for her family. Her grandchildren held a special place in her heart, and she cherished every moment spent in their company. Known for her sassy yet kindhearted nature, Christine’s presence brought warmth and laughter to every gathering. As a wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, she touched countless lives with her compassion and generosity.
Forever in Our Hearts: Christine leaves behind a legacy of love and laughter. She is survived by her devoted husband of 22 years, Keith Nephew, her children Ruben Martinez, Robin Dobis, and Bryan Nephew, her beloved grandchildren, her mother Auralie Warren, her sister Venus Garcia, her cherished companion Buddy, and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends. Though she is no longer with us, Christine’s spirit will continue to inspire and uplift us all.
Honoring Christine’s Memory: The celebration of Christine’s life will take place with a Mass of Christian Burial at Good Shepherd Catholic Church on Saturday, February 24, 2024. Prior visitations will be held at the O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Montrose on Friday, February 23, 2024. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society in honor of Christine’s enduring spirit and resilience.
