A friend, a part of the family, and someone to confide in
For us, Becky was more than just a server; she was an indispensable member of our family, a reliable confidante, and a genuine friend. The beginning of her journey with us began in 2019 at Finaghty’s, which was a significant amount of time before the idea of revitalizing Saints & Scholars arrived in our imaginations. Becky’s unwavering commitment to the COVID redevelopment project spanned two and a half years, during which she was there for us through both the good and the terrible moments. From the demolition to the clean-up, her unwavering commitment was an essential factor in reviving our bar, and she left an indelible mark not just on our hearts but also on the walls themselves.
An Identifiable Appearance and a Reliable Presence
Everyone who came into our establishment found Becky to be more than just a barmaid; she was a familiar face, a dependable presence, and a person who was known to them. She did more than just serve drinks; she also engaged in conversation with customers and developed connections. She was the perfect example of what a barman worked in an Irish pub should be like. Because of her sudden departure, there is now a void that is not only felt within our company but also throughout our community as a whole when she leaves.
A Remainder of Becky’s Name
It is because of Becky’s enthusiasm for Saints & Scholars that our pub has the genuine feeling of being a kind of family. Even her daughters came with her to this location. The departure of this individual has left us in a state of profound sorrow, as we share in the sorrow of a family that has a strong connection to our organisation.
To pay tribute to Becky and provide assistance to her family at this incomprehensibly difficult time, we will organize events in the coming weeks. In the same way that she was there for us, it is time for us to express our love and thanks for the amazing life that she shared with us.
Everyone who had the honor of knowing you will always remember your legacy, even though Becky will be missed for the rest of their lives.
