Marion Woodington Obituary, Death – On Monday, February 12, 2024, Marion E. Woodington peacefully passed away at Wedgewood Manor in Summerside. She was 90 years old. Marion, formerly of Kensington, leaves behind a legacy of love and kindness that touched the lives of many.
A Life Well-Lived: Marion was born on June 15, 1933, in Sea View, to her late parents Roy and Winona (Adams) Duggan. She shared 70 beautiful years of marriage with her beloved husband, Claude R. Woodington. Together, they built a life filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories. Marion was a devoted mother to her children: William (Bill) Roy Woodington of Moncton, NB, Kathleen Pearl Woodington of London, ON, and Heather Ann Woodington MacEwen of Maxville, Ontario. Her grandchildren, Michelle Jean Woodington, Devon Thomas Abraham, Carley Ashton MacEwen, and Sheby Kate MacEwen, were the light of her life. Marion’s family meant everything to her, and her love for them knew no bounds.
A Fond Farewell: Marion was predeceased by her brother, Ralph Duggan. She will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Marion’s family and friends are invited to join in honoring her memory at the Davison Funeral Home in Kensington. At Marion’s personal request, there will be no visitation or funeral service. Her final resting place will be in Geddie Memorial Cemetery in Spring Brook.
