Ethan Hill Obituary, Death – The Coffee County Sheriff’s Office has made strides in identifying the victim of a tragic overnight shooting in Elba. Sheriff Scott Byrd, in a statement to News4, confirmed the identity of the victim as 24-year-old Ethan Christopher Hill of Elba. The incident unfolded in the 1400 block of Jones Street, marking a devastating turn of events for the local community.

Details of the Incident: Upon responding to the scene, first responders encountered Hill with multiple gunshot wounds. Despite efforts to save him, Hill succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead at approximately 11:05 p.m. The sudden loss has sent shockwaves through the area, prompting swift action from law enforcement to bring those responsible to justice. In a commendable display of investigative efficiency, the authorities managed to apprehend three suspects linked to the shooting. The City of Elba officially confirmed their capture at 12:57 p.m. on Thursday. Among the detained individuals, two have been identified as 31-year-old Freddie Junior Mcgee Jr. of Enterprise and 52-year-old Alena Michelle McGhee of Elba.

Juvenile Involvement: Sheriff Byrd disclosed that the third suspect is a 17-year-old juvenile.
