    Deputies arrived at the site to witness a terrifying spectacle: a gray Hyundai from 2022 and a blue 2019 Peterbilt semi-truck had crashed. The inquiry found that the Peterbilt was heading south on US Route 62 when it was being driven by Paul J. Marks, 52, of Millersport, Ohio. The accident occurred when Nicole Van Gundy’s Hyundai drove across the intersection at Five Points Pike in Darby Township.

    Tragically, Nicole Van Gundy was declared deceased at the scene by Sterling Joint EMS. Paul J. Marks was sent to Grant Medical Center right away after suffering non-life-threatening injuries. In addition, an 8-year-old passenger in the Hyundai was sent to Nationwide Children’s Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
