When Damell Taylor was last seen on Wednesday with his 48-year-old foster mother, Pammy Maye, suspicions were aroused. A horrifying 911 call made by Maye’s husband around three in the morning on February 14 revealed the horrific facts, according to a probable cause document that PEOPLE was able to access. He shockingly admitted, according to rumors, that Maye had murdered the tiny child.
Arrest and Startling Disclosures:
In Brooklyn, Ohio, where her car had been found days earlier, Maye was captured Thursday night. In a press conference carried by WKYC, Columbus Police Chief Elaine Bryant revealed that Maye had alerted authorities to the likelihood that Darnell’s body might be in a sewage drain. Sadly, the boy’s lifeless form was found hours later.
Court Cases:
Maye is presently being prosecuted for abduction and endangering children. According to Chief Bryant, there have been talks with prosecutors and attempts are being made to prosecute Maye with murder.
